Sharing the lessons along the way…

About The Tawny

me 2-27-13I am a psychologist, professor, life coach and regular human in search of truth, meaning and purpose in this life.

I am part philosopher, part scientist, advocate for those without voices, lover of animals and living things, and am interested most in being the change we all wish to see in the world.

I also have a rare motor neuron disease called Primary Lateral Sclerosis and discuss some of how I cope with a chronic, progressive illness.

Join me in my journey through this life as I share the lessons I learn along the way.

  1. It’s that time of year again! I’m coming by with a weirdly stock comment to see if you’re going to join us for NaBloPoMo this year. 2016 brings with it a new site — CheerPeppers.com — and there’s a signup form there if you can fill it out so I know which blog you’re rocking this year. I’m really excited to blog crazily alongside you again, so I hope you can do it. http://cheerpeppers.com/2016-2

    • Katie, you rock! Thank you so much for including me. Providing support and encouragement to you is an easy task. You have the challenge of making living with your illness…what inspires me about how you share this in your blog is that you are making the seemingly senselessness of it have a purpose. Not only are you educating us about your illness, but you are bringing together folks who wouldn’t have connected before.
      Love and hugs,
      T
